Catering

Our caterers Our school catering is provided by Caterlink, who we appointed in April 2023 and who are doing a fabulous job. Led on site by Alina, all food is cooked fresh in our school kitchen and is available to students from five different serverys around school. Queue times are minimal, food is available on a sit down or take away basis and we have lots of outdoor seating for the finer weather, as well as all the usual indoor spaces to eat.

Menus & Meal Deal  Please see Caterlink’s menus below. The menu operates on a 3 week cycle, changes twice a year, and offers variety to meet all taste, cultural and dietary requirements.  In addition to the daily changing menu, there are also salads, sandwiches, baguettes and a range of drinks, fruit and packaged snacks available, as well as lots of popular takeaway hot snack foods at breaktime.  Items are individually priced (price list below) and can be bought in any combination. There is a special “meal deal” available at lunchtime every day which includes the daily hot dish and dessert as well as hot and cold alternatives to that for a set price of £2.58.

Allergy, Dietary or Cultural Requirements If your child has specific dietary or cultural requirements, they should speak with Alina, any of the kitchen team, or the PHS staff on duty in the serverys, who will be able to provide allergen and other ingredient information.

Free school meals (FSM) – students who are eligible for FSM can use their daily allowance of £2.58 every day at lunchtime or break. Eligibility for FSM can be checked here or school can run this check for you (please pop into Reception or email us on info@pinnerhighschool.org if you would like us to do this.)  We know that some families who are entitled to FSM are not signed up for them – please do check and sign up if you are entitled. Not only does this entitle your child to free food each day, school also receives additional funding from government when students are signed up to FSM and with this we are able to offer eligible families financial support for some school trips and activities, a £25 clothing grant each academic year and supermarket food vouchers for use during the longer school holiday periods.

Paying for food at school We use a cashless system called ParentPay  for all payments at Pinner High School. New students will receive their login details when they join us. Please click here to log in.  Please see the document below for instructions on how to view your child’s meal choices on ParentPay.
