    Our Form Tutors

Maintaining Pinner High School’s culture of high expectations and achievement is dependent upon regular contact and support for our students. Each student in our Sixth Form will be part of a form group led by a Form Tutor. Our form tutor system has Year 12 and 13 in separate tutor groups. This enables form tutors to focus on area specific to each year group, for example UCAS and apprenticeships in Year 13. To offer maximum support to our students, Form Groups meets on a daily basis. In from time, students will be supported through an extensive provision of activities covering study skills, delivering PSHCE and exploring post-18 options.

Our programme of PCSHE and guest speakers will be carefully coordinated to ensure that the needs of our students, and the issues they are passionate about, are given priority. In PCSHE sessions students will deepen their knowledge and awareness of social, political and economic issues at both a local and global level. In addition to developing their understanding of how to stay safe and prioritise their wellbeing, Year 13 students will also learn essential survival skills that will serve them well for university and beyond. Yes, that does mean learning how to cook, manage your finances and do laundry,
