In 2021-22 the government announced a one-off recovery premium. The premium provides additional funding based on Pupil Premium eligibility to provide further support to disadvantaged pupils. |

The government announced one-off funding in 2020-21 to support children and young people to catch up on lost educational time due to Covid-19 related school closures. Schools must use this funding for specific activities to support their pupils to catch up on missed education. The government also announced one-off funding for secondary schools to run a short summer school in July/August 2021, with a focus on students moving into year 7 and delivering a mixture of academic and enrichment activities. |
