The Pupil Premium Grant is additional funding for schools to raise the attainment of disadvantaged students of all abilities to close the gap between them and their peers.
The Year 7 Catch Up Grant provided schools with additional funding to improve the attainment of pupils who achieved a score below 100 in reading and/or mathematics at the end of Key Stage 2. The Department for Education has discontinued this funding stream following the introduction of the National Funding Formula.
