Pinner High School was stablished because:
- The number of children needing high school places is increasing in both Harrow and Hillingdon as the larger year groups in primary schools reach Year 7. So more school places are needed.
- Local schools are consistently and heavily over-subscribed so local families need another local school.
- The site on Beaulieu Drive became available – it is rare to find such a good site, with enough outdoor space, in London.
The high schools in Harrow strongly believed that the Beaulieu Drive site should become a school for the whole local community...and thankfully the DfE agreed. We now have the opportunity to create an excellent high school for the whole community. It is going really well so far!
