The start of term is always exciting, especially this one as it marks a year until the opening of Pinner High School. A year may seem like a long time, but as I am currently Head of a school with no students and no staff, there is a great deal to do!
Ensuring parents can make an informed choice about entrusting their children to us in September 2016 is top of my priority list. I really enjoyed meeting so many people at the community event earlier in the summer, and I look forward to talking to many more of you in the weeks ahead. We have open events on Saturday 26th September and Monday 5th October, when I can give you more detail about the school: the day, the curriculum, pastoral support, uniform and enrichment programmes. I hope to see lots of you then. I am also visiting a range of Primary Schools in Harrow and Hillingdon, and would be delighted to see you there too.
The building refurbishment programme has started already, and good progress is being made. I have a sample of the school blazer, which looks very smart. Exciting times!
